Bentota – Apart from the pertinent of beaches, Bentota is a historically remarkable place in the southern part of Sri Lanka which reveals in ancient messenger poems, Galapatha Viharaya is of one of ancient temples in the region that tells us about the rich cultural history in centuries back. This beautiful place is situated 65 kilometers away from Colombo.

The ideal time to visit the sanctuaries is from October to April since during this time you have chance to witness the mother turtle coming to the ashore to lay eggs.
Galle is seated on the southwest coast of this Island and has a history which cannot be defeated to anyone of cities in Sri Lanka. Galle is known for its popular attractions. Sea Turtle Farm Galle Mahamodara, Galle Dutch Fort are some of the attractions. Gall is encircled by the old fort walls with narrow bricked streets and old buildings and the old Dutch hospital and light house are the pinnacle of the fort and also attractive and pinnacle and genuinely a pleasure to walk around the Old Dutch fort.

The Galle city and its fortifications is added in the UNESCO world heritage list and the fort belongs the European traditions and constructed during the Portuguese and Dutch periods and travelers will be surprised by the marvelous architectural buildings like Churches, mosques, and temples and also there is a light house which is 18 meters in height built in 1038 and you will have a wonderful sight at the top of the lighthouse.
