Sigiriya- Rock Fortress is one of the most visited sites in Sri Lanka located in between Habarana and Dambulla towns in the district of Matale and the ‘Lions Rock’ previously known as Snihagiri has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is commonly referred to as Sigiriya.

This was used as a monastery by King Kashyapa, King Datusena’s eldest born son was talented in politics, war strategy and the arts as a prince. King Kashyapa sought safety from the public fury and disgust and fled into a large, roughly lion-shaped rock finally discovered this rock as the kingdom 0f Sigiriya. The rock was elaborately designed with pools and lush green gardens and had dense forests protecting attacks from outside. The grand gardens of Sigiriya are said to be one of the world’s oldest landscaped gardens. The water system that remains a marvel and a mystery still function well during the rainy seasons and fills up the pools on all ground levels. The mirror wall when polished could once hold one’s reflection on it. The design, architecture and the many beautiful features of this fortress is an example of the luxury and the artistic taste that lay in the dynasty of ancient Sri Lanka.

Anuradhapura is located in the north central province in Sri Lanka, and it is the capital city of North Central Province and city lies 205 kilometers away from Colombo. This great city is one of the oldest capitals of Sri Lanka and one of the largest best-preserved archeological centers in the world and the first kingdom of Sri Lanka was founded in the 4th century BC and remained alive until the 9th century AD. According to the great Mahawansaya or “Great History” the first entry is back to 543BC which coincides with the arrival of the price Vijaya in Sri Lanka and about three hundred years later early Anuradhapura period was commenced with King Devanampiyatissa as the first ruler.

Anuradhapura was the first center of the Theravada Buddhism for many centuries and many secret places were built by our great kings with the introduction of Buddhism in the 4th century BC and this secret city was built around the great and the oldest Bo-tree which was planted in 245BC.

Dambulla is situated 148 kilometers far from Colombo in the district of Matale 72 kilometers north of Kandy. The story of these cave temples dates back to around 100BC and were built on an enormous granite outcrop. Dambulla’s cave temples are a series of beautifully decorated and adorned caverns in various sizes and murals cover almost every inch of the undulating caverns which are home to dozens of statues of the lord Buddha and his disciples and various kings involved in creation of sites.

Kandy – Why you must visit Kandy in Sri Lanka! Kandy in Sri Lanka is known as the capital of the hill country and it is the largest after Colombo. Nestled in the heart of Sri Lanka and surrounded by heavily forested mountains and tea plantations. Kandy is an important religious city for Buddhists. It is the home for the Secret Tooth Relic of the Lord Buddha and was declared as a UNESCO world heritage site. 

According to the legend , there was once adverse drought and then the Tooth Relic was taken out of its shrine and great procession was held for seven days and ended the drought and started the traditional Pera Hara (Procession)  festival which is celebrated annually in Kandy and if you visit the temple early morning or evening, you will witness the ceremony and enjoy the cultural show which take place every evening.

Yala-Sri Lanka’s most visited park and situated in south-east of Sri Lanka hugging the panoramic Indian Ocean increasing its beauty. This precious resource covers huge area of 978.8 km2 was designated as wildlife sanctuary in 1990 and became as a national park in 1938. Ludicrously this natural site was used as a hunting ground for the elite under the British rule and Yala national park is spread in a vast area of forest, grasslands and lagoons bordering to the Indian Ocean. It’s home to wildlife such as leopards, elephants and crocodiles as well as hundreds of birds and reptile species and in a nutshell this precious land is a home for hundreds of floras and faunas.

It is recorded that this park is a home for 215 bird species including seven species are endemic to Sri Lanka and also this sanctuary provides shelters for 44 mammal species including leopards, elephants and bears.  Also, it provides shelters for 46-47 reptile species and six of them are endemic to Sri Lanka.

Sithulpawwa ancient Buddhist monastery ,Nearby caves contain centuries old rock paintings and Magul Viharaya in the south east of this national park and also other Buddhist ruins reminds us the rich culture of our ancestors.

This National Park is divided into five blocks and has four entries, and all four gates are open to the public and Yala National Park in Sri Lanka offers multiple safari sessions throughout the day including morning session from 6-10 am, afternoon session from 2-6 Pm and full day session from 6.00 am to 6.00 pm. Bentota – Apart from the pertinent of beaches, Bentota is a historically remarkable place in the southern part of Sri Lanka which reveals in ancient messenger poems, Galapatha Viharaya is of one of ancient temples in the region that tells us about the rich cultural history in centuries back. This beautiful place is situated 65 kilometers away from Colombo.

At this stage , It is required to make a payment of 25% of the total tour package .Booking confirmation will reach to you 48 hours after making the payment. The balance 75% of the payment is required to pay 30 days prior the tour commencing date. You may proceed with Visa processing after the booking confirmation.
